ISS Facility Services has an exciting collaboration with an international client in the automotive industry and we are now looking for an engaged and self-driven Receptionist for our client sites in Gothenburg. The position is a permanent employment with an initial 6-month probationary period. Working hours are daytime, Monday–Friday. Location: Volvo Group Lundby.

About the role

As a Receptionist, you are the heart of the house – the one who sets the tone for the entire workplace. You are the person who says “hello!” before the visitor has even had a chance to press the door opener, who notices when someone is looking for coffee from five meters away, and who spreads energy just by your presence.

Your mission? To create a welcoming, professional, and cheerful atmosphere every day – while keeping order, organizing routines, and ensuring the reception runs smoothly.

You are a natural problem solver who loves to fix, solve, and improve. And whether you meet a stressed supplier or a new colleague on their first day at work, you make everyone feel seen, calm, and welcome.

Your tasks

You make a difference every day by: Welcoming, guiding, and taking care of visitors with genuine engagement. Answering calls and emails with both professionalism and warmth. Keeping the reception and entrance area in top condition – order, neatness, and feel! Assisting with arrival and departure logistics, e.g., taxi bookings. Solving everyday challenges with style – whether it involves administration, technology, or other service tasks. Supporting colleagues in other areas of workplace services when needed – we are a team that helps each other.

Who are you?

You are a joy-spreader with a knack for service. You see solutions where others see obstacles and you approach each day with curiosity, structure, and a big smile.

We believe that you: Have experience in service roles and love meeting people. Have a natural ability to create contact – you say hello before anyone else has even thought of it. Are organized and meticulous, yet spontaneous and positive. Communicate simply and clearly in both Swedish and English. Have good IT skills and enjoy learning new systems.
